Join us on January 18th for a special event with Julie Perry, author of the new
book, The Insiders' Guide to Becoming a Yacht Stewardess: Confessions from My
Years Afloat with the Rich and Famous (Morgan James Publishing, October 2006).
This free event will be held at Bluewater Books & Charts' Fort Lauderdale store
on January 18th, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and will be accompanied by a
wine & cheese reception.
Representatives from various crew agencies and training programs will be
available to answer questions about careers in the Marine Industry. Julie will
discuss career options working aboard luxury yachts, read sections from her
book, and answer questions. Her presentation will be followed by an author
book signing.

| The American Yacht Institute is a professional training facility offering courses in yacht steward/ess training, estate management, flight services, and etiquette. The American Yacht Institute's Yacht Services program provides a five-day "Yacht Crew Training Course" for stewards, stewardesses, deckhands, and cooks for privately owned and chartered super yachts. With the help of yacht employment agencies, the school assists students in seeking placement. The American Yacht Institute is setting a professional standard for yacht crew.
